The death of the Alcove spawned Anti-Matter Magazine and Blitz Records. Anti-Matter started as a small fanzine (500 copies) and grew to a tabloid size monthly with a 30,000 copy circulation. It featured (non-pop) music, print, tv, movie, electronics and art reviews along with regular columns, comics and features.
